Annie’s Project Registration Extended

Annie’s Project …is a six week course designed for women involved in agriculture and agribusiness; however, anyone interested may attend. It provides a wide range of information required to be competent agriculture business managers. The registration deadline has been extended until January 22.

The first class will be held Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Haskell Ag Lab near Concord NE. The class will start at 7:00 PM with a light lunch. There is some opportunity to adjust time and location depending on those involved in the class.

This program will continue for six weeks on Monday night. It will combine lecture, discussion, individual assignments, small group work, computer work, and audio/visual support. Included topics are risk, financial statements, understanding personalities, marketing plans, business plans, estate planning, spreadsheets, and technology.
